SEEKING QUILT AUCTION ITEMS FOR THE VQG SPONSORED JUNE 14 EVENT HELD DURING COLONY DAYS

 

Valley Quilters Guild is sponsoring a quilt auction on June 14, during Colony Days. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the two local groups of Quilts of Valor. Auction donations can be turned in at the Service Committee table on regular meeting days and at Open Sews, in both May and June. June's Open Sew is the 1st Saturday, June 7th, switched for Colony Days.

 

Any and all quilted items, small or large, are being accepted for the auction.  Suggestions: quilts, wall hangings, table runners/table toppers, placemats, etc.

 

Postcards and flyers about the auction will be placed around Palmer, Wasilla, other MSB areas, and Anchorage, starting approximately May 15. If you have a special place for a notice, please ask for a postcard to post for the auction. All help posting notices is appreciated.
