This Committee is just what it’s name says…
We organize the extra special events that Valley Quilters Guild hosts from time-to-time. We also hang guild member quilts in the Palmer DMV.

We have held a UFO Auction with items donated by our members and then auctioned off to other members and guests at a monthly meeting.

We also have taken part in the “Who Let the Girls Out” event held in Palmer at the end of April every year.

We've hosted Silent Small Quilt Auctions at the Depot featuring quilts and other items made and donated by our members.

DMV Quilt Displays

We have a wonderful opportunity to display quilts made by our members at the Palmer Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV).  Our hanger sizes are as follows:

​1 x 90″ wide
2 x 60″ wide
1 x 45″ wide
1 x 30″ wide

​​If you have a quilt(s) you would like hung in the DMV for a while, please bring them to a Valley Quilters Guild monthly meeting and give it to Kim Barr.

​Be sure you have a label of some kind on your quilt so that we can return it promptly and to its rightful owner.​​​​​
