Alaska State Fair Booth

Thank you, Quilters, for the tremendous response. Lots of kits have been checked out and many turned in, as well as personal donations. Our inventory swelled, and we’re on our way to great selling opportunities in August.

 

Come by our table at the next guild meeting and check out the kits we have to offer. As always, we’re hoping for a large number of baby and bed quilts to offer to the public this year. If you need supplies for them, we have kits ready to start. There are smaller easier kits too, that can be whipped out quickly. Making up any kit or donating your own creation is a way to help out the guild. And every contribution gets you at least one chance for a $50 gift certificate to a local store. Drawing is at the September 4th guild meeting.

Deadline for turning in donations and kits: August 7th VQG meeting. Pricing will be August 9th.

 

Paying for quilting: Please remember that we are paying $50 for quilting on any bed quilt, twin size or larger. It can be your own donation or a completed kit. See us at the table for more information.

 

Fair Booth Volunteers: We will start signing up volunteers to work in the booth at the June meeting.

 

2025 Alaska State Fair runs from August 15 to September 1, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.The theme is “Reach for the Stars”.
