October 2026 VQG Retreat
Join us for a fun-filled weekend of quilting, friendship, and creativity at the Valley Quilters Guild Fall Retreat!

Cost: $40 (Members Only)
Whether you're finishing UFOs, starting a new project, or simply enjoying the activities with fellow Guild members, the VQG Retreat is the perfect opportunity to relax, quilt, and connect.
A detailed Retreat Information Packet, including arrival information, supply list suggestions, retreat guidelines, and other important details, will be emailed to all registered participants in late September.
VQG Retreat
The Valley Quilters Guild Retreat is held twice each year and is a favorite event for members. Bring your own quilting projects and enjoy several days of sewing, visiting with friends, sharing ideas, and relaxing in a fun, creative atmosphere.
Retreat activities include a Service Quilt Challenge with a prize, Bingo, the Left-Center-Right fat quarter game, a block drawing featuring two optional block patterns, and a quilt-themed gift exchange. Participants may bring up to three quilt-related gifts (minimum value of $25 each) and receive the same number in return. Everyone is also encouraged to bring snacks to share.
Retreats are held at the Palmer Depot, beginning on the fourth Thursday in February and October and continuing through Monday. Registration opens approximately three months in advance and is available to members in good standing on a first-come, first-served basis. The Depot accommodates approximately 36 participants, with each quilter receiving about eight feet of workspace.
