Strippy 9-Patch Directions:

Make 1 block per entry.

Cut one 3 ½” sq. Snowman for center.

​

From 5 different blues, cut 2” x 20” (or 4 2”x5” of each fabric).

​

Decide your layout of the blue fabrics. You will be sewing 3 together and 2 together.

Sew 2 strips together and then cut into four 5” sections.

Sew 3 strips together and then cut into four 5” sections.

Place in 9 patch layout according to the picture. Sew vertical rows together first, assembly line. Don’t cut threads apart. Then sew the horizontal rows together, nesting vertical seams.

Block should measure 12 1/2” unfinished.
