Directions:

You will need 10-inch squares of batik floral-colored fabrics that read tone on tone.
1 entry equals three blocks. 2 entries equal 6 blocks. You will get more variety if you cut 6 of the squares, even if you are submitting just one entry.

You will need three 10-inch squares for each entry. Pick 1 light and 2 darker squares. (If you are doing 2 entries, you will need six 10-inch squares, since you will be cutting the squares in groups of three and sewing them back together again.)

Stack and cut squares according to video directions. For 2 entries, stack and cut six 10" squares at a time, then move one right side triangle to the bottom of the stack, and move 2 left side triangles to the bottom to mix up the fabrics. Each block will then be three different fabrics, while still keeping the same order in which they were cut.

Chain piece the right side to the middle, then add the left side. If making more than one entry, remember not to mix up your sets as each are cut slightly different.

Press and trim to 9-inch block.

Each block is made up of 3 pieces.
