Valley Quilters Guild

Bringing Quilting to the Matanuska Susitna Valley Since 1985

If quilting is what you are looking for, dreaming of, or you are just wondering what it is all about?  Then Valley Quilters Guild is here to help you in your search.

VQG has quilters from "all walks of life".  Beginner quiltmakers thru very advanced quiltmakers who compete with their quilts on a national level!

So, as you join us on your quilting path, you will find lots of inspiration, friends, and fun.

Along the way you will have the opportunity to join our Service program to help make and distribute quilts via many local agencies such as the Red Cross, Womens Shelter and the Alaska State Troopers, just to name a few recipient organizations.

When a Valley neighbor needs a quilts to hug, hold and keep them warm, we will have one ready to give.

Join us for one, two or as many meetings as you want by joining our guild at the Palmer Railroad Depot Building.  You can't miss the large Caboose sitting in front of the depot at the blinking stop light in downtown Palmer AK.

Valley Quilters Guild General Membership meetings are held on the FIRST THURSDAY of EVERY MONTH @ 7 PM.  Most meetings last approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, depending on the program and how many show & tell projects are shown!

NEXT VQG MEETING : July 6th, 2006, 7:00 PM Palmer, AK Train Depot
